Residential Living FAQs

Do the residents own their apartment home?

Our residence agreement allows lifetime use of the apartment home, therefore there is no ownership or real estate responsibilities.

Are Pets allowed?

Pets are allowed in residential living at La Vida Llena. Pets must be under 40 lbs and there is a one time pet fee of $500.00.

Is Smoking allowed?

Effective May 1, 2008 La Vida Llena is a non-smoking community

Are guests allowed to stay overnight?

Yes, guests may stay in the resident's apartment at no charge. If preferred, guests may reserve one of seven guestrooms at La Vida Llena for $60-$70 per night. A complimentary breakfast in our main dining room is provided for each night's stay.

Do I have to change my medical insurance plan or doctor?

Residents at La Vida Llena maintain their own medical insurance coverage and continue to utilize the physician and hospital of their choice. La Vida Llena provides nursing and wellness services on-site.

Is the entrance fee refundable?

The entrance fee is paid upon move in and does not have a death benefit to the resident's estate. However, a pro-rata refund of the entrance fee is available to residents who choose to relocate elsewhere.

Are all utilities included?

The monthly service fee includes all utilities except cable television and telephone service. There is a monthly technology fee of $40.00 which covers basic telephone and cable television.
