Over the years, several La Vida Llena residents have recieved many special awards. In this case, the award was Medal of the Jubilee of Liberty, presented by the French Goverment to those US Servicemen who served at Normandy during World War II. Congresswoman Heather Wilson came to La Vida Llena to present the award on behalf of the French Goverment.
